Town of New Haven Emergency Selectboard Meeting

Present: Keith Hall, Burt Allen, Pam Marsh, Lowell Nottingham, Pat Paquette, Pam Kingman

Agenda Results:

To discuss suggested names for the vacant road crew position, possible Executive Session.

All three applications for the road crew were reviewed.

Pam Marsh made a motion to go into Executive Session at 5:15 pm to discuss a personnel matter, seconded by Burt Allen; all in favor.

Burt Allen made a motion to come out of Executive Session at 6:00 pm, seconded by Pam Marsh; all in favor.

Pam Marsh made a motion to hire Sherman Jewett; starting pay will be $15.00 per hour with a six month probation period. There will be an evaluation given by the Selectboard after three months and again after six months. After the probation period has ended, Mr. Jewett will be eligible for full benefits, which will be discussed at that time.

Burt Allen and Pam Kingman will notify the other two candidates for the road crew position, that it has been filled.

Keith Hall worked on a rough draft for a bid for the King House he has added the stipulations that where asked for by voters at Town Meeting. Pam Marsh will work on the wording for the bid also.
