PROPOSED AMENDED SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS
PROPOSED AMENDED ZONING REGULATIONS
The New Haven Selectboard will hold a public hearing on June 27, 2006 at 8:00 pm in the town office located in the Town Hall at 78 North Street, New Haven, Vermont, on the proposed amendments to the New Haven Zoning Regulations and New Haven Subdivision Regulations. This hearing is held pursuant to 24 V.S.A. 4404. This notice is issued pursuant to 24 V.S.A. 4447(b)(1).
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND AREAS OF TOWN AFFECTED
The proposed Town Zoning Regulations and Proposed Subdivision Regulations regulate types of permissible land use and the structure of proposed subdivisions of land with in the entire Town of New Haven. All areas within the Town of New Haven are affected.

Copies of the proposed Zoning Regulations and Subdivision Regulations and the written report of the planning commission evaluating the proposed changes to the Zoning Regulations and Subdivision Regulations pursuant to the criteria required in 24 V.S.A 4403 (3) can be viewed at the following locations: Town Clerk’s Office, Village Green Market and the New Haven Community Library
Most of the changes being made are to bring the Town Regulations into compliance with the changes in the State regulations. This is your chance to have input into the process.
The Planning Commission has held their hearing; they made a few changes and have passed the regulations on to the Selectboard. After this hearing the Selectboard may: make changes if it seems appropriate; send it back to the Planning Commission; approve the changes or bring the changes to the voters. Depending on what happens at their hearing.
