Read and approve minutes make corrections if needed.
NEW BUSINESS
- Zoning Administrator Keith Hall will be phasing out as
Zoning Administrator and Cris Messerle will be coming back as his assistant
and then take over when Keith Hall retires. Start at $12.50 / hr.
Selectboard appoint Cris Messerle as assistant Zoning Administrator. All
agree.
- Bill Brim Emergency Manager The Emergency Management
group met last night. They are continuing to work on procedures for each
group or area of work. Bill Brim spoke with Victor Bolduc about the
generators. It will cost around $9000.00 for the generator, $1811 for the
fence, $1500-2000 for materials and labor. Totaling $12,811.00. Bill Brim
will look in to grant monies otherwise will put in budget for next year.
Selectboard approve purchase of computer and other items for emergency
management. Bill Brim will bring order in to town offices.
- Dana-King House Site Visit no action
- Town / School Agreement no action
- Community Projects Sub contract / Money /software etc.
Group is operating on town Id number and would like selectboard to sign off
on some expenditures from the money raised. Selectboard agreed.
- Reappraisal fund Need to start funding again.
Property sales are still coming in quite high compared to the listed values
and we will need to reappraise again soon.
- Appointments Planning Commission Resume - Ray
Fortier interested in position Keith Hall will remain on board for now.

ROADS
- Beavers Continue to be a major problem. Discussion.
Phil Busier will contact Barry Forbes to trap beavers. Giddings would like
them. Then dams can be removed.
Willow tree on East Street needs to be removed. It has
become a traffic hazard.
3000 yards of sand have been put up for winter. Discussion
of how the shed continues to save money and time during the winter. No
condensation sand is always dry. Still need a conveyor to load sand with. Phil
Busier will continue to gather purchase information for next years budget.
Trucks are ready for winter. Had to change rear hubs with
heavier ones.
Discuss problems with trees in the road right of way on
Lime Kiln Road.
Stumps on Sumner Road need to be removed.
Underground tanks how to remove need to continue to
pay fees until removed. - Discussion of underground fuel storage tanks needing
to be removed and list of state requirements from state of how needs to be
done.
- Discussion - Need for schedule of equipment replacement
and repairs with projected costs. Loader seems to be a priority and possibly
the next piece of equipment to be replaced. Amos Roleau III will look into
models and pricing. Discussion of importance of having good working equipment
and the dangers of poor working equipment.
- Fence / Rocks in road right of way on South Street. -
Discussion of fence and boulders being put in the town right of way on South
Street. Will send a registered letter and try to set up a meeting to discuss
the issues. If not will have to start issuing fines / violations.
- Shared Road agreement - Bristol Larry Buck, Phil
Busier and Bob Hall met and discussed issues and came up with a tentative
agreement. Discussion of agreement all think it is a good idea. Town of
ownership is responsible for capital improvements. Maintenance would be
spelled out in the agreement.

- Ouimette Enter appearance in Madden vs. Town
- VLCT Health Trust rates
- Town of Bristol Proposed Zoning Regulations to file
- VLCT Dues for next year $1873.00. Based on 2004
census .77 per capita 1783 with 500.00 service fee.
- Addison Press would like to continue to publish public
notices for the town.
- Ray Fortier interested in Planning Commission position
- Dept. of Buildings and Grounds request for letters of
interest from towns interested in hosting a Dept. of Corrections Work Camp
Facility.
- Vermont State Dept. Liquor Control Products sold
without proper training.
