Read and approve minutes make corrections if needed. 

NEW BUSINESS

Bill Brim – Emergency Manager – Working on generators for emergency shelters.  There is currently a generator on a trailer stored at the Fire Station.  The Fire Department has another generator which they have placed in their new utility truck.  The generator on the trailer is not getting started on a regular basis.  Generators need to be powered up weekly to maintain proper functioning.  Discussion on where and how generators should be placed and whether or not to purchase another generator.  Discussion of a self contained unit with a self start.  The generator for the Town Hall will need to power the water and septic through the school. The generator on the trailer is set up to run the School and Town Hall.  Bill Brim will look into availability and costs for: an auto start/shut off, a pad to put it on and fencing to go around the unit.  Discussion of another unit for the Garage and Fire Station 25 KV for around $9,000.00 plus installation.  Would run on Propane.  Bill Brim will present more info at the next Selectboard meeting.

• Dana-King House Site Visit – On Hold
• Lister Errors and Omissions – Signed – State required cable to be removed from municipal portion of Grand List. 
• Town / School Agreement – Will be signed at the next School board meeting.
• Town / Palmer Agreement – Will be dealt with after Turkey Season
• Continue Review of Insurance – Waiting for site visit from Vicki at VLCT.
• Madden – Court Case – Given to Ouimette ( Town Attorney)

 ROADS

• Working on Permits for Demers pit.
• Put skins on Plows
• Will pave Twitchell Hill on Thursday (Nov. 3)

Ø      Intersection of Route 17 and East Street – Will wait until next year.  Still need pricing.

Ø      Road Maintenance Schedule and Equipment upgrades for 2006

Ø      Start Budget work – Discussion of projects for next year.  Would like to chew up pavement on Munger Street and repave.  Bad spot on Pearson also needs to be chewed up.   Will work on graveling and put chloride down so roads will be ready for tar.

Ø      Pay on weekends – Discussion Winter hours and compensation.

Ø      Sign pay orders and documents.

 MISC. Correspondence

• Summit Engineering Inc – Sidewalk design survey info.
• Apgar – George and Kathi – will be applying to board of abatement due to fire
• VLCT – dues for next year $1873.
• Vermont Cares – Request for Community Support for HIV and AIDS care and prevention through donation.
• Wayne Marcelle – dog calls – June – August.
• VLCT – Municipal Inquiry Service -
