AGENDA: RESULTS

Read and approve minutes make corrections if needed. 

NEW BUSINESS

Larry Buck – Will need a physical description of the area they want to include in the village designation application.  Village designation will allow us to be more eligible for grant applications.

Larry Buck will attend the School Board meeting on the 15^th to discuss the land issue regarding the King House property.  The current idea is to have the Town retain the Town Hall with a lease from the School for the land. And the School will deed the town some land.

Discuss increasing the reserve facilities fund for next year to $80,000.00.

Burt Allen motion to appoint Susan Smiley as alternate for the Solid Waste Board. Second by Roleau.  All agree.

• ACTR – Re Bus stop signs – Neb Kehoe  - They would like to put up some bus stop signs.  Selectboard has no problem with the idea will need ore information on where they would go.

• VELCO – Burt – Discuss putting a limit on Spending for VELCO. Discuss - people can petition and vote on what ever they so choose.

• Dog Warden Report

• Appointments – Regional Planning Commission

    Zoning Board of Adjustment – Dykstra is remaining on the board

    Energy Coordinator

    Alternate – Solid Waste – Susan Smiley

                                        Addison County Transit Resource Board

                                        Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC)      

John Evers – Would like to find a person to take minutes for Zoning Board of Adjustment.  O.K. from selectboard.

Tim Bouton – Presented a draft of the hazard mitigation plan – FEMA has requested that they prioritize the projects. And up grade last years plan.  Will need to make changes and adopt plan.

Discuss covers for kitchen fans – Proposed design from Gordon Marcelle – Design looks good – would like pricing. If price is good would like done as soon as possible.

Sign town hall permit for soup supper.

ROAD CREW UPDATE

Truck that was in pit during flooding is not repairable. Waiting for insurance.

Discuss over speeding trucks.

Burt Allen motion to purchase backhoe from Busier for $1.00.  Busier will be allowed to use it with Selectboard approval.  Second by Roleau.  All agree.

Discuss leasing a grader next year. Will include in budget.
