Sign Planning Grant resolution for Planning Commission to work on Town Plan.
Discuss problems with pre-bate checks. The state will not mail pre-bate checks until the School budget has passed. Discussion over whether the Select Board has the ability to do any thing for the people who rely on these checks. Discuss potential options. Possibility of appealing to the state and showing hardship / or inability to pay.
Discuss that this payment is only a portion of the taxes and that most should be able to cover this portion without their pre-bate check. Decided to wait and see if there are people who it is really a hardship for.
