Burt Allen to be chair for upcoming year.  All agree.

AGENDA: Results

Read and approve minutes make corrections if needed. 

NEW BUSINESS

Greg West – Liquor license application – Would like to get beer and wine license to start with.  Waiting for approval from the Zoning Board of Adjustment for an addition to the restaurant for a banquet hall.  Will only be able to have one portion open at a time. New portion will be 50 x 100.  Selectboard O.K. for 2nd class license.

 

Bill Shafer would be interested in serving on the Planning Commission.  Submitted piece of paper stating that he has casing in his well was directed to give to Planning Commission.  Letter of interest from Tom Boise to be on the Planning Commission.

Town Hall porch roof must be done this year.  Amos Roleau will contact Darwin Cousino.

Fred Napoleon: Asked questions about petition to reconsider the King House.  Wanted to know how people apply for appointments to town positions. Applications were at Town Meeting.

 

ROAD CREW UPDATE

Discuss salt shed estimates and designs.  Mega dome and coverall.  Would like door to roll up into casing at top not slide back over ceiling. Size will be close to 70 X 100.  Hoping to come in for less then what was voted.  Discuss making sure warranty is valid if we help with installation.  We can do the excavation and lay the blocks.  Waiting for pricing.   Will need to submit building permit to the zoning administrator and settle write of way with Palmers.  (Phil Busier will do)

 

Phil Busier will meet with Sargent about bridges this week.

Nash Bridge is in very bad shape.

Need to check on Rattlin Bridge status with state.

Will start on trees in river soon.

Discuss problems with South street near Beech Hill will need to dig up and re do with fabric and new base.

Discuss Manure being dumped in road right of way on River Road.  Phil Busier will speak with owner.

MISC.  CORRESPONDENCE

·        Margo Merritt – Does not want to be appointed to Zoning Board of Adjustment again.

Tom Boise request to be on Planning Commission.

John Madden suggestions for the Planning Commission.

Request for firework permit from Addison County Field Days. – Granted
