Read and approve minutes make corrections if needed. 

NEW BUSINESS

• Mt Abe School Board – Budget – Discuss increase to budget.  4.86% increase. Due to deficit, Special Ed, Insurance, fuel prices etc.  They try hard to maintain costs, but have little control over some areas.  There are currently students who needed to be placed out of state for services that are not available here.  Those costs were unexpected and high.  Discussion of the Federal Government not funding their mandates. Discussion of potential new governance system for the Hannaford Career Center. 
• Heffernan – Act 250 – Heffernan’s have agreed to mitigation.   
• Appoint Emergency Manager  - No one willing to do the job
• King House – Informational meeting on February 26, 2004 Town Hall 7:00 pm
• FCC – radio frequency – nothing new
• Town Hall Application  - Paul Roche – signed

Discuss bills for expert witnesses.  Dumont will come to meeting on the 26th

ROAD CREW UPDATE

Discuss problems with narrow ness of Sumner Road Tree branches are breaking equipment on trucks.

Busier has gotten rid of the old culvert thawer. 

Ferrisburg has been salting part of Plank Road Busier will return some salt to them. 

• Employment issues – need to put out add to hire someone.
• Mileage Certificate from State – no action
• Ordinances – speed – Discuss need for clarification on Town Hill Road.
• Weight Restriction filing info – Busier will do

• Sign pay orders

• Vermont State – Water Resources Board – Petition to designate Green Mountain Waters as Outstanding Resource Waters and National Resource Waters. – Public Notice Permit #3-9015
