NEW BUSINESS
- 8:00 pm Public Hearing zoning regulations and
subdivision regulations will be continued / postponed to January 29, 2004 7:00
pm
Discuss plans for new salt shed. Hope to present as a
separate article. Phil Busier will complete estimate for project.
Wages – Part time help will stay at 10.50 per hour. Julius
Larrow will stay at 11.50. Scott Busier will go up to 13.00. Phil Busier
salary will go up to 42,000.00 per year. Will figure new road crew at 11.50 per
hour and half a year of health insurance.
- Voting Machines available from state – Normally cost
$5,850.00 - Would need to have an article on the warning to allow there use.
State will pay the maintenance contract for the first 2 years (approx. $200.00
per year). There will be programming costs between $400.00 – 1800.00 depending
on the election. The state currently has money to help towns upgrade their
equipment. This option may not be available again. Decide to put an article
on the warning for town meeting.

- Vermont State – grant applications due by April 1st.

- Heffernan’s – Do not like the way the Act 250
questionnaire was filled out will come to next meeting. Phil Busier and Burt
Allen have spoken with the Heffernan’s. They will reconsider the gravel
options at the next meeting.
